1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
Our city of Bixby is an amazing place! Bixby is truly a community that cares for each other and where you can find just about anything to do. You can find parks that offer a place to enjoy the outdoors, lakes to fish and trails throughout the city. We also have a downtown that offers plenty to do for food, coffee and shopping. Our Bixby sports teams offer top notch athletic programs and fun Friday nights under the lights.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
My cowboy boots and my heels! I love to feel confident, have fun and be ready for anything.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
Honestly, no one wants me to cook! Thank the Lord because I am NO good at it. I am blessed to have a husband that ensures we eat well and often.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
I would spend that time with my family outside on the land. We love fishing in our backyard, helping my husband plant the fields or having a picnic at our favorite spot on the ranch.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
When I was growing up, my granddaddy had land with livestock. We would help him bale hay in the summers and unload it in the barn. You wear long sleeves and pants in extremely hot weather so you are soaking wet from your sweat. To top that you had to keep your eyes peeled to ensure your boots avoided the cow patties. It was dirty but I loved it and will cherish those days forever.
